Bob Pedler Memorial Fund

The Bob Pedler Memorial Fund financially aids Hamilton musicians who are unable to perform due to injury or ongoing health issues. The fund is named for the late Bob Pedler, a popular musician and music store owner in the city and a former member of the executive board of the Hamilton Musicians’ Guild. Bob is also the father of the well-known Hamilton based drummer Jack Pedler (Teenage Head).

Aside from raising money for the Pedler Fund, the annual Nob Pedler Memorial Fundraiser is also an opportunity for the Hamilton Musicians’ Guild to present the George R. Robinson Award to deserving recipients. The Robinson Award, named in honour of the Guild’s founder, is our chance to honour local men and women who have distinguished themselves by their exemplary support of live music and musicians in the Hamilton area.
