Piper’s performances dip and swing easily from vulnerable to joyous while maintaining an authenticity that audiences find unforgettable. They are a Hamilton Arts Award Creator nominee as a solo artist/educator and as her duo Piper & Carson. She is also a two time nominee of the Ontario Arts Council's Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award in 2016/2017 and professor at Centennial College where they teach a holistic somatic approach to vocal expression, performance and song. In 2021 she was hired on as co-director of Hamilton Sings! Community Choir, where she lead a non-audition choir through song and harmony. They have designed music programming for community support organizations geared toward adults with disabilities, as well as teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Organization on numerous occasions to deliver workshops on music and mental wellness. With her background of study in Musical Theatre and attention to community building, they have been developing group somatic voice curriculum for singing and speaking. They lead a monthly singalong and also offer restorative yoga + sound immersion live music experiences. She is very keen to continue exploring their practice of collective healing through sound, song and story.

Lily Sazz was a long time member of the Women’s Blues Revue Band (10 years as musical director), toured with Canada’s Queen of the Blues, Rita Chiarelli, co-founded and led critically acclaimed bands Trailblazers, Groove Corporation, and Maple Blues Award nominated Cootes Paradise.
Lily has recently launched her solo career, featuring herself singing her own compositions. Her live repertoire is a mix of rootsy bluesy originals, with a few interesting covers peppered throughout. It’s an impressive lineup. Individually and as a group Trickbag has shared the stage with many notable players. Too many to list here. Everyone from Tom Wilson, Dave Rave and Daniel Lanois to King Biscuit Boy, Kelly Jay, Hock Walsh and Garth Hudson, not to mention every degree in between.
Trickbag music crosses many boundaries. It encompasses rocking blues, roots music, classic Americana, soul sounds, delta blues and rhythm and blues with a distinctly southern flavour. So diverse and yet it always sounds like Trickbag. Over the years they have released five acclaimed CDs: Trickbag, Cacti Redux and Tricknology. Cacti Redux and Tricknology were nominated for Hamilton Music Awards and tracks from Tricknology were included as incidental music for the popular television series One Tree Hill, New Girl and Heart of Dixie.
Trickbag also recorded a cd titled North End Ramble Live at This Aint Hollywood that captures the band on a hot night. Their fifth and latest cd with Les Smith titled Another Day in Paradise met with critical acclaim.
Their recording career is also complemented by many club and concert performances including appearances at the Toronto Harbourfront Blues Festival, the Festival of Friends, It’s Your Festival, the Royal Botanical Gardens Jazz and Blues Series, the Burlington and St. Catherines Rib Fests, the Toronto Beaches Jazz and Blues Festival, the Canal Bank Shuffle Fest, the Ancaster Fieldcote Museum Concert Series, the Dundas Cactus Festival, the Blues With a Feeling Tribute to King Biscuit Boy and the Hamilton Westdale Blues and Roots Festival and Supercrawl among others. Trickbag has also served as opening act for a number of renowned acts including Downchild, Colin James and Big Sugar.

Hamilton, Canada's Brenda Brown owns a smooth and expressive voice that beautifully illuminates her distinguished selection of repertoire.
Brenda studied Music at Mohawk College and Laurentian University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Laurentian University and education degrees from Charles Sturt University and Nipissing University.
With hundreds of professional shows to her name, in 2013 Brenda teamed up with Toronto Canada jazz musician Ross Wooldridge to record her debut EP. The remarkable debut earned Brenda a nomination for Jazz Recording of the Year at the 2015 Hamilton Music Awards.
Brenda's latest labour of love is a full length album with spectacular new arrangements of some of the finest songs in the jazz canon. Brenda's confident and rich voice is a perfect fit for the big band and orchestra, creating those lush, authentic sounds we all love.
The album includes a special duet with Juno winner Alfie Zappacosta and a guest appearance by guitarist Reg Schwager.
In December 2019 Brenda released two singles: "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm."
The full album Life Among Giants was released worldwide May 2020.

Versatility is the defining trait of Jeff Eager’s talent. The character and range of his voice, expansive skills on guitar, bass, and keys, and his approach to song-writing and arranging seem to move effortlessly through genres. Soul, rock, funk, pop, R&B: Eager knows and combines all these styles with authenticity. Add to this a commanding stage presence radiating experience and charm; it’s clear why Jeff Eager has secured a reputation as one of Canada’s most dynamic artists.
As a touring and session musician, Jeff has had a career of experiences across the continent from Halifax to Hollywood, and overseas. He performed with Canadian vocal star Elise LeGrow at the 2018 International TED convention in Vancouver, and did a European tour opening for pop legend Rick Astley. Eager has performed on stage with rock icon Lenny Kravitz, backed up Larry Gowan of Styx, and worked with many Canadian stars like Gary Beals, Arkells, John Orpheus, and Shakura S’Aida; as well as performed at Toronto’s historic Massey Hall with Epic Eagles.
In 2014, Jeff Eager independently released his first album, Bonavista, with supporting shows at the TD Jazz Festival, Burlington Sound of Music Festival, Trius Jazz Festival, and as a guest star at Sean Jones’ Soul in the City at Casa Loma, Toronto.
In 2023, Eager released his second full-length studio album, titled 2070. With several years of life and career experience between his original works, Jeff is bringing a different perspective to his art this time around. Chasing no trends and leaning strongly into the timeless artists that influenced him, this album is a wealth of classic song-writing: strong melodies over moving progressions, rich instrumentation and arrangements, plus plenty of hooks. Jeff is leaving a contribution today to the golden age of analog music with an album that sits comfortably in a record collection next to Prince, Hall & Oates, Elton John, Earth Wind and Fire, Supertramp, and Michael Jackson.
Fans got hooked on this new material with a series of singles: a feel-good summer bop (written for his daughter): I Don’t Care For What’s Out There; a somber yet funky piece of soul music called Joy; and a bass-heavy, horn-filled funk/soul tribute called The One that was featured on Hockey Night in Canada. Recently, Jeff visited the CityTV studios in Toronto to perform the ironically danceable I Don’t Dance Anymore on Breakfast Television.
2070 is live on all streaming platforms now, and is also available for purchase on limited edition 12” vinyl.
